Puppy training in Boise and Meridian, Idaho. The socialization window closes faster than most people realize. Start building the right foundation while it is still wide open.
The experiences your puppy has in their first few months shape how they see the world for the rest of their life.
Waiting until your puppy is six months old, or until the bad habits have already set in, is the single most common mistake new dog owners make. By then, the critical socialization window has mostly closed. The neural pathways are forming. Patterns are getting set. Starting early is not about being intense — it is about being present during the window when change is easiest and fastest.
Puppy training is not just about sit and stay. Done right, it builds the foundation your dog will stand on for the rest of their life. We focus on four things: regulation, communication, socialization, and confidence.
A regulated puppy can handle novelty without falling apart. A puppy who understands communication knows how to succeed. A well-socialized puppy grows into a dog who trusts the world. A confident puppy does not become a fearful or reactive adult dog.
Our approach is reward-based and built on nervous system science. We do not use punishment, flooding, or dominance-based methods with puppies. The goal is to make the world feel safe and clear from day one.
