How a session actually runs

Four Things, Every Time.

One
01

Lower the volume

Before anything gets trained, the dog has to be under threshold. That usually means more distance, a quieter room, or a shorter session than you expected. Nothing learned in a panic sticks.

Pay what you want repeated

A marker, then food or play your dog genuinely cares about. Not a generic biscuit. Neo finds the thing your dog would work for and then actually pays it, on time, every rep.

Give the behavior a job

Under-fulfilled dogs do not need less energy, they need somewhere to put it. Scent games, tricks, marks and targets, problem solving. The behavior you did not want fades because something better took its slot.

Move it to real life

The living room is not the goal. Work moves to the driveway, then the parking lot, then the store front, at whatever pace your dog can actually hold. Slower than you want, faster than nothing.
